For this project, I was asked to illustrate an abstract interpretation of Steve Mccurry's Srinagar Kashmir portrait. This assignment involved learning how to stylize a realistic image. I became versed in selecting a pleasing color palette, controlling the use of all numerous visual elements, and honing in the ability to identify contemporary illustrators and their styles.
